A 50‑PC LAN café embedded in South Texas’s premier event venue. Located on the transforming grounds of the former Kelly Air Force Base, the Boeing Center at Tech Port opened in May 2022 and stands as one of the most technologically advanced entertainment and innovation venues in the world. Stretching across 130,000 sq ft, it integrates a LAN gaming center, a 3,100-seat arena, a tech museum, educational programming, and a food hall—all under a unified mission of tech, education, and esports innovation.
The LAN Gaming Center invites visitors to dive into casual or competitive play with around 60 fully-equipped gaming stations—each complete with PC, display, headset, and chair—plus additional stations for visitors to bring and connect their own devices. The space blends modern gaming infrastructure with seamless connectivity to support both spontaneous play and reservation-based events.
This facility hosts high-profile tournaments, including the Department of the Air Force Esports Invitational 2023, where branch-wide Overwatch 2 competitions took place, showcasing the arena’s readiness for top-tier competitive gaming. Additionally, the center has become a focal point for student esports, hosting the R20 Premier League Grand Finals—San Antonio’s largest high school esports tournament—fueling regional growth and community engagement.
