Kennesaw State University Game Rooms & Esports Lab – Kennesaw / Marietta, GA, USA

KSU offers multiple gaming spaces: the KSU Game Lab, located in Atrium Building Room J202, offers students access to 40 robust gaming workstations available during evening and weekend hours—Monday through Friday (6 pm–11 pm) and Saturdays (9 am–5 pm).
On the Marietta campus, the Marietta Game Room, situated in the Student Center, provides 12 state-of-the-art gaming workstations along with two plug-and-play console areas. It’s open whenever the Student Center is operating, with occasional closures during scheduled team practices or matches.
The Kennesaw Loft Student Lounge, located on the third floor of Carmichael Student Center, features approximately 15 console stations set in a comfy lounge environment. It’s accessible whenever the Student Center is open.
Gameplay and esports at KSU go beyond just facilities. The KSU Esports Program, launched formally in fall 2020, grew from grassroots club activity and now offers intercollegiate competition, campus-wide events, and institutional support from departments like Athletics and Student Affairs.
Moreover, KSU hosts a Game Hive / Game Lab (also known as the “game lab”) featuring 40 workstations with Windows 10, plus console and Wii setups connected to large screens. The lab includes software suites like Unity, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, Visual Studio, GameMaker Lite, Audio tools, and more—great for both play and development projects.
