Florida Atlantic University Esports Arena – Boca Raton, FL, USA

FAU’s gaming center offers 30 high-end Lenovo Legion PCs (RTX 4070 Super), console stations, tabletop games, pool, and ping-pong. Florida Atlantic University’s Esports Arena, located in the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus, serves as the premier gaming space for Owls. The facility features 30 Lenovo Legion gaming PCs, each outfitted with high-end components like RTX 4070 Super graphics cards, spacious mousepad-covered desks, comfortable gaming chairs, and starter kits including mice, keyboards, and headsets—all available for checkout at no cost to FAU students.

Beyond PC gaming, the Arena includes a variety of recreational options: tables for pool and ping-pong, board games, and five 65-inch TVs for console play, creating a multi-dimensional environment that balances competitive and casual gaming.

Access to the Arena is completely free for FAU students—simply swipe your Owl Card at the entrance. It’s open every day during the fall term, operating roughly from noon to 10 PM, though these hours may shift depending on events or holidays.

The Arena was officially opened in October 2020 after some delays, and it continues to gain popularity among students interested in gaming, tournaments, and social hangouts. In addition to open play, the space supports organized gaming events and student-led competitions. While the public can enter, full access to gaming stations is reserved for FAU students, staff, alumni, and faculty.
