A premier varsity esports arena featuring PC stations, live broadcasting, and robust training spaces: The CAVE

The ETSU Esports program at East Tennessee State University, founded in Fall 2019, gives students an immersive platform for both casual and competitive gaming. The program competes nationally and features teams in popular titles such as Valorant, Rocket League and League of Legends.  Located in the D.P. Culp Student Center on the ETSU campus in Johnson City, Tennessee, the facility is integrated into campus life and encourages community participation, open-lab access and student engagement.

Beyond gameplay, ETSU Esports supports a broader set of opportunities: gaming culture is tied into leadership, teamwork and media skills for students aspiring to careers in production, streaming, or event management. With available scholarships, club activities and a supportive environment, the program blends recreational gaming with structured varsity competition and student development pathways.
