UNL’s varsity and club esports space integrated into Journalism & Mass Communications and the Student Union
The UNL Esports program is a student-centred competitive and social gaming hub at UNL, designed for casual gamers, club teams and varsity competition alike in an inclusive and performance-focused environment.
Based in the heart of campus, the club currently runs from the Rec Room in the Nebraska Union and is actively moving toward a dedicated esports lounge and arena investment by the College of Journalism & Media Communication (CoJMC) in the Union. The program supports weekly gaming meets, LAN tournaments, and competitive club teams in titles like Rocket League, League of Legends and Super Smash Bros., blending social activity with structured competition.
