Boise State Esports Arena – Boise, ID, USA

A varsity esports space at Boise State University, supporting a robust broadcast and competition environment. Boise State’s esports facility spans approximately 7,000 sq ft and includes a full-fledged competition arena, training area, and a broadcast studio that produces over 30 hours of live content per week. Located at 301 S. Capitol Blvd inside the Venture College building, the venue is easily accessible and integrated into the heart of Boise’s urban campus life.
The arena houses multiple zones: The Battleground, featuring around 35 gaming stations, serves as the core training and competition space. It also includes varsity locker rooms, staff offices, and even pinball machines that often run on free-play during special events. And, the Main Arena offers stage seating for 48 attendees, with extra gaming stations on stage and a dedicated casters’ desk for live commentary.
An expanded spectator setup accommodates up to 100 people, complete with the original 1986 Gen‑1 blue turf from the football field as stage décor, a broadcast room, and commentator desk.
The arena isn’t just for university teams—it hosts a wide variety of events: high school state championships, tournaments, workshops, panels, and community gatherings. Organizations can even rent the facility for corporate events, LAN parties, or custom broadcasts.
Competitive success is built into its design. Since its launch following Boise State’s esports inception in 2017, the program has become the top‑performing Division I collegiate esports team in the U.S., tallying more wins than any other program. The move of the esports program under the Athletics department in Fall 2025 further strengthens its integration and support.
