OSU Esports Arena – Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, USA
A high-tech esports facility with Alienware stations, full VR, streaming capabilities, and public membership access. Located in Room 070A of the Student Union, Oklahoma State University’s Esports Arena is a high-tech, inclusive hub serving players, students, and the wider community. The space rises above casual play, providing a welcoming environment for varsity gaming, friendly competition, and community engagement.
The arena is fully equipped with 40 top-tier Alienware Aurora R8 desktops (i7 9700K, RTX 2080 Super) and advanced varsity stations with Alienware R9 rigs (i7 9700K, RTX 2080 Ti)—all paired with high-refresh Dell gaming monitors, Secret Lab Titan chairs, and RGB setup mice/keyboards/headsets. Four stations are dedicated to Meta Quest 2 and HP Reverb VR headsets, expanding play into virtual reality.
On the production side, there’s a dedicated shoutcasting Twitch booth with a vMix setup, a 4K-capable rig (i9, RTX 2080 Ti), Elgato capture hardware, broadcast cameras, lighting, and audio gear—ideal for live-streamed events and team practices.
Open to students, faculty, alumni, and community members, it also supports OSU’s varsity teams. Access includes hourly pricing (e.g., $3/hr for students, $4/hr for community), as well as discounted memberships with bonus playtime.
The Arena hosts tournaments, live streams, open play sessions, and even summer camps for youth—fostering both competitive vigor and social connection among gamers.
