Emirates Esports Federation – UAE’s Authority on Esports & Gaming Development

As the national esports governing body, this organization oversees esports development and competition in the UAE. Established under the UAE Ministry of Sports, the Emirates Esports Federation (EESF) is tasked with regulating, developing and promoting esports and competitive gaming across the United Arab Emirates. The federation oversees official competitions, youth training programs, accreditation of esports clubs and represents the UAE on the global gaming stage. In March 2025, EESF was officially accepted as a full member of the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF), reaffirming its position as a recognised governing body for gaming and esports in the region.

Beyond competition, EESF is deeply committed to establishing sustainable gaming ecosystems and talent pathways. Its mission includes developing a sense of national identity through gaming, fostering skills among youth and ensuring that gaming is integrated into education, community engagement and industry innovation. Together these initiatives position the federation as a central force shaping how gaming — both competitive and recreational — evolves within the UAE’s rapidly growing digital culture.
