Full Sail Armada – University-Based Gaming Organization & Arena

Largest collegiate esports arena in the U.S., opened 2019, spans 11,200 sq ft, features LED wall, concert level PA system, seating for around 500. Home to Full Sail Armada varsity teams and collegiate competitions.

Full Sail Armada represents the competitive gaming and community division of Full Sail University, located in Winter Park, Florida. Built around one of the country’s most tech-driven campus environments, Armada serves as both a collegiate gaming organization and a training platform for students pursuing careers in entertainment, technology, and media. The team competes across multiple titles including Valorant, Rocket League, Overwatch, and League of Legends, while also fostering collaboration between players, streamers, designers, and production students. The program is supported by industry-grade facilities, including the Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress, an advanced broadcast systems, and spectator seating for hundreds.

Beyond tournaments and intercollegiate play, Full Sail Armada is designed as a community builder. Students can join for casual gaming nights, production workshops, or creative networking opportunities that integrate real-world experience with academic study. The university regularly hosts public and invitational gaming events, showcasing not only competitive talent but also the skills of students in event production, commentary, and design. This hands-on environment has positioned Full Sail Armada as a model for blending gaming culture, education, and professional development within a university setting.
